Responding to the Government’s consultations on reforms to the electricity market, Mark Johnson, Knowledge Leader – Emissions Trading at sustainability consultancy AEA, said:
“These consultations are a step in the right direction and should help to create a level playing field on which we can continue to work to realise the benefits of a low carbon economy in the UK. There has been a considerable amount of uncertainty around the proposed reforms to the electricity market, and these consultations help to clarify how the policy reforms might be taken forward".
